Fulfillment Facilities2

We operate in a 150,000 square foot, climate controlled, automated and paperless fulfillment center. Inventory is stored in either a forward pick or reserve stock location.

fulfillment 3-tier2

Packing materials and collateral are inserted, shipping labels are applied, and the box is assigned to a bar-coded tote. Totes are scanned and automatically moved along the conveyor system to pick, pack and shipping locations.

fulfillment accuracy2

Pickers examine the totes for order information and scan items for accuracy. Packages are scanned onto pallets associated with the final destination or loaded directly onto a carrier truck.

Warehouse

Our warehouse leased facility was the first wine fulfillment company to make green practices a priority. Since their inception in 2001, they've built ecologically friendly systems into their already paperless facility in order to increase energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint. This was a major choice in selecting our facility.

Functionality

Green solutions contribute to our overall fulfillment service by serving the greater purpose of shipping, while at the same time reducing our carbon footprint. Our completely paperless fulfillment center benefits the entirety of our shipping operation in both productivity and environmental efficiency.

Cost Effectiveness

We search for solutions which not only help the environment but at the same time reduce the overall costs associated with the shipment of wine. Improvements such as ceiling and wall insulation reduce unwanted temperature fluctuations, resulting in savings both in cost and the energy utilized for cooling or heating our facility.

Long-Term Ecological Impact

Our goal is to become completely energy efficient, and in order to do so the practices we put in place must have long term positive implications for the environment.
